Once Dry Ground

This is Falls Lake, NC. We're in a bit of a drought at the moment, and I decided it was needed for me to document it for myself. Here is a shot of the outcome.

The shadow is me, which is why I listed it as a self portrait. I was on a dock that no longer reaches the water, looking down and the exposed ground of the lake and saw the shadow by the log. I thought it was interesting, so I tucked the camera in to keep it from showing and snapped the photo.
